Medicaid offers health insurance for people with limited income and assets
who meet the eligibility requirements. To be eligible you must be under
age 19, pregnant, age 65 or older, blind or disabled, or a relative caretaker
of a deprived child. If you apply for Medicaid and are denied because
you are over the income limit, ask about the deductible program.
